Payments at Moi è Me

We keep payments simple, secure, and transparent. Below you’ll find all accepted methods, how we protect your data, and what to expect during checkout and refunds.

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment options. Availability may vary by country and device.

  • Credit & Debit Cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
  • PayPal
  • iDEAL (Netherlands)
  • Apple Pay (on compatible Apple devices/browsers)
  • Google Pay (on compatible Android devices/browsers)
  • Bancontact (Belgium)
  • Gift Cards & Vouchers issued by Moi è Me (see “Gift Cards & Promo Codes”)

Your payment options are shown at checkout based on your location and device.

Currencies, Taxes & Pricing

  • All prices are shown in EUR (€) and include VAT where applicable.
  • If your bank account uses another currency, your bank/payment provider will handle the conversion at their exchange rate and fees.
  • Any delivery fees are shown before you confirm your order (see Shipping Policy).

When You’re Charged

  • For most methods, your payment is captured when your order is confirmed.
  • With certain methods (e.g., Apple Pay/Google Pay), an authorization may appear first; the final charge is completed when the order is confirmed.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after payment, we’ll cancel the affected item(s) and refund the amount to your original payment method.

3D Secure & Strong Customer Authentication (SCA)

To keep you safe and comply with PSD2 regulations, your bank may request 3D Secure/SCA (for example, an app approval, one-time code, or biometric confirmation).
If authentication fails or times out, try again or choose another method.

Security & Data Protection

  • Payments are processed via PCI-DSS compliant providers (e.g., Shopify Payments/Mollie/PayPal).
  • We never store full card details on our servers.
  • Our site uses HTTPS encryption end-to-end.

Refunds & Timelines

  • Once your return is processed (see Returns Policy), we issue refunds to the original payment method.
  • We aim to process refunds within 14 days after your return has been inspected.
  • Your bank or PayPal may take an additional 5–7 business days to post the funds to your account.
  • If you paid (partly) with a voucher/gift card, that portion will be refunded as a new voucher.

Gift Cards & Promo Codes

  • Enter your promo code or gift card number at checkout.
  • One promo code per order unless otherwise stated.
  • Gift cards and vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
  • Lost or stolen gift cards can’t be replaced.

Order Limits & Personal Use

  • Orders are intended for personal use. We reserve the right to limit quantities or cancel orders suspected of resale or fraudulent activity.
  • Multiple shipments may occur if your order contains items from different locations; you’ll receive separate tracking links.

Failed or Declined Payments

If your payment is declined:

  1. Check your card details and billing address match your bank records.
  2. Ensure you’ve completed 3D Secure/SCA if prompted.
  3. Try another method (e.g., PayPal, iDEAL, Apple Pay, Google Pay).
  4. Contact your bank to authorize the transaction, then try again.

Invoices & VAT Receipts

  • Your order confirmation email contains a summary and VAT details.
  • Need a formal invoice? Contact us with your order number and billing details.

Chargebacks & Disputes

If you believe there’s been an error or unauthorized charge, please contact us first. We’ll investigate and resolve issues quickly. If you file a chargeback, we’ll share our shipping and transaction records with your bank to help resolve the claim.
