Description

The M+ fragrances are an ode to minimalism and a celebration of pure form. Their radical simplicity is the antidote to overindulgent mainstream fragrances, a reaction to traditional perfumery's compositional constraints. Maybe, the perfect scent is achieved not when there are no more notes to add but when there is nothing left to take away.

Molecule 01 + Guaiac Wood consists of Iso E Super + Guaiac Wood.

Iso E Super is an abstract synthetic molecule with a cedarwood tonality and a warm, velvety cocooning sensation.

Guaiac Wood is an extract from the heartwood of the Palo Santo tree that smells warm, smoky and woody.

Guaiac Wood has one of the best dry-downs in olfactory alchemy, containing depth within itself, darkness, something grave, almost. Imagine wrapping yourself in olfactive layers of creamy warm whisky in the winter, and an emulsified smoke from the fireplace sublimates the room; that's Guaiac Wood.

"Guaiac wood has the smokiness and aromatic quality of a great whisky, together with a creamy warmth. It has a gentle 'cocooning around the fireplace in winter' feel to it. It's like emulsified smoke that melts into the Iso E Super to make a skin scent that is super-sexy and erogenous," says Geza Schoen.

This moody M+ iteration packs a punch of volatile rum absolue at the top, which evaporates and gives way to a pas de deux of Guaiac Wood and Iso E Super — a noteworthy product that deserves to be added to your fragrance collection.

How to use
In order for you to fully enjoy your new fragrance: apply to warm zones, pulse points, where skin is generally somewhat thinner. On your wrists, the sides of your neck, back of your knees…Hair is also known as an excellent carrier of perfume – that’s why ‘team 2’ advocates applying perfume on the upper side of your fore arm. The tiny hairs on your skin ensure a beautiful sillage (provided the skin is well hydrated).

The cloud.

Are you a fan of the ‘perfume cloud’ to walk through to perfume your hair? Be sure to check the alcohol percentage in your fragrance, it might dry out your strands. Better look for a matching hair perfume. And always hold your breath while your head is in the cloud.

Body care & perfume.

Doesn’t your perfume last as long as you might expect? Make sure your skin is moisturized. Scent molecules tend to bind better to hydrated skin. So, make sure to apply a neutral body lotion or cream after bathing, before applying perfume.

Spoiled nose.

Do you hardly smell your signature scent anymore? Always check with someone else before over spritzing! Your nose might have become used to your signature scent.

Cuffing.

Never rub your wrists after applying perfume. This classic gesture does not enhance your perfume. Au contraire. The top notes fade and evaporate too quickly, you’ll miss out on the overall experience. So, let’s kick this habit!
