ILIA complexion: Skin Tint, foundation or concealer?
Start with two questions: how much of your own skin do you want to show, and which finish appeals to you? These four ILIA products differ in coverage, texture and application. Lighter coverage is a different choice of result, rather than a lesser version of foundation.
The differences at a glance
| Product | Format and finish | Starting point |
|---|---|---|
| Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 30 | Liquid / light coverage / dewy | A sheerer complexion base |
| True Skin Serum Foundation | Liquid / medium coverage / natural | Buildable liquid foundation |
| Skin Rewind Complexion Stick | Stick / medium coverage / natural-matte | A solid foundation applied directly |
| Skin Blur Hydrating Serum Concealer | Fluid concealer | Targeted extra coverage or wider application |
1. Choose coverage and finish first
Skin Tint offers light coverage with a dewy result. True Skin provides medium coverage with a natural finish. Skin Rewind offers medium coverage in a solid stick with a natural-matte finish. Compare the result you want first, then the format you prefer.
2. Choose a shade within the correct product line
Consider both depth and undertone. A name or number in Skin Tint does not automatically match a shade in True Skin, Skin Rewind or Skin Blur. Open the product page, compare the images and check the selected variant. Let Skin Tint settle for 30–60 seconds after application before assessing its colour.
3. Decide where you want concealer
Skin Blur is a concealer that can be applied to selected areas or more widely. A practical approach is to blend your base first, then see where you want more coverage. You do not need the same amount or the same product on every area.
Common questions
How does Skin Tint differ from foundation? Here, Skin Tint is the lighter, dewy option, while True Skin and Skin Rewind offer medium coverage. Can concealer be used with foundation? Yes: compare the extra coverage you want in specific areas with Skin Blur. Does every complexion base have the same SPF? No. The Skin Tint offered at Moi è Me is named SPF 30; do not transfer an SPF claim from another product or a different regional version. Always follow the packaging directions.
