Fragrance · Moi è Me Journal

A scent for your mood.

From woody and amber to floral and citrus: find your fragrance family and compare eau de parfum with eau de toilette.

You might want something understated today and something more expressive tomorrow. Finding a fragrance can start with that feeling, rather than with a rule about who you should be.

Which fragrance family draws you in?

A fragrance family gives you a starting point for a perfume’s character. Begin with woody fragrances if you are curious about wood notes, or explore amber fragrances for a warm, rich character. These families can meet: a perfume can have both woody and ambery aspects.

Curious about floral or fresher accents? Compare floral fragrances with citrus fragrances, then read the fragrance notes on each product page. The family is a starting point; the full composition gives a fragrance its individual character.

Eau de parfum or eau de toilette?

Eau de parfum and eau de toilette are different fragrance formats. When comparing them, look beyond the name on the bottle: the notes and composition can differ too. Molton Brown, for example, adds a signature note to its eaux de parfum compared with the corresponding eau de toilette.

Use the product description to compare which version appeals to you. The words eau de parfum or eau de toilette alone do not tell you an exact wearing time. If you can try a fragrance, give yourself time to discover how you experience it.

There is room for more than one version.

You may enjoy wearing one familiar scent, or choosing different fragrances for different moods. Both can feel personal. You set the pace and decide what belongs in your collection.

Bring your preferences with you.
